the author
Michaela Austin is a contemporary romance author based in New Hampshire, where she lives with her family and draws endless inspiration from small-town charm, lake life, and the beautifully messy realities of starting over. She writes emotionally layered love stories about second chances, healing, and finding your way back to yourself—often with plenty of heart, chemistry, and the kind of characters who stay with you long after the final page. When she’s not writing, Michaela can usually be found near the water, dreaming up her next story, spending time with family, or romanticizing everyday life with a good book and an iced coffee in hand. Her debut novel, The Inn on Main, is the first of many stories centered around love, growth, and the moments that change us.
